The 2020’s started out with a crazy thing called Covid. What will history say about this time period? Certainly, history will report that Covid-19 changed the way the world works, the way we think about inter-connections, and the way we connect with each other. Despite these changes, some things remain the same. We still need relationships and we still need to connect. Join us on Wednesday evening, October 21, 2020 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm as we explore the brave new world of networking and building relationships in a virtual world.
This event is exclusively for the alumni of the fifteen
Business Schools that comprise the OCMBA, and their guests.

During this session, The Wharton Club of Southern California will host an interactive, Q&A style interview with Dan Koblin, Founder and Managing Partner at Continuum Consulting Group. Dan will discuss the path he took as he left a 15-year corporate career in the rear-view mirror to build his consulting practice. We will discuss his motivation behind his career change, the steps he took to take the risk, and the techniques that worked (and didn’t work) along the way. We will save time at the end to answer your questions, especially if you are considering making a similar career move.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Socioeconomics and his Master’s Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University. After college, he ventured out to California where he spent 15 years in corporate human resources with recognized companies including PepsiCo, Taco Bell Corp, The Walt Disney Company, Gateway Computers, and Washington Mutual Bank. He left the corporate world in 2006 to start his boutique financial planning consulting firm, focused on holistic financial plans that help clients navigate through the continuum of change as they pursue clarity and financial well-being. When he is not working, spending time with his family, or playing ice hockey, he spends his time serving the community through the various board of directors’ roles he serves on.
