The 2020’s started out with a crazy thing called Covid. What will history say about this time period? Certainly, history will report that Covid-19 changed the way the world works, the way we think about inter-connections, and the way we connect with each other.  Despite these changes, some things remain the same. We still need relationships and we still need to connect.  Join us on Wednesday evening, October 21, 2020 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm as we explore the brave new world of networking and building relationships in a virtual world.

This event is exclusively for the alumni of the fifteen
Business Schools that comprise the OCMBA, and their guests.

Forming Relationships, Networking, and Job Hunting in a Virtual Environment

The 2020’s started out with a crazy thing called Covid. What will history say about this time period? Certainly, history will report that Covid-19 changed the way the world works, the way we think about inter-connections, and the way we connect with each other.

Despite these changes, some things remain the same. We still need relationships and we still need to connect.

Join us on Wednesday evening, October 21, 2020 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm as we explore the brave new world of networking and building relationships in a virtual world.

The evening will begin with a brief talk by Fran Helms, Senior Partner at Korn Ferry,  speaking about how to network and build relationships with a goal in mind—namely finding and landing a job.  Though this presentation has a “job” as its objective, the premise is still the same no matter your ultimate goal.  It’s about finding the right people, building the right relationship, and the proper way to do an “ask”.

Afterwards, we will break the group into different networking rooms which will be facilitated by moderators who will help promote interaction and networking between participants. Due to the moderated networking nature of this event, we will be limiting the total number of event participants to 100 people.

This event does have a modest registration fee.  All proceeds to be donated to Second Harvest, a foodbank in Orange County that helps to ensure people and families in our community do not go hungry.  For more information on Second Harvest please go to: https://www.feedoc.org/
