Please join the Wharton So Cal Alumni Club for our Lunch & Learn Speaker Series with Prof. Saikat Chaudhuri to talk about Innovation During Times of Crisis. Prof. Chaudhuri is the Executive Director at The Mack Institute for Innovation Management and has extensive background in innovations among incumbent firms.
During this interactive event, Prof. Chaudhuri will present Mack Institute’s research findings to discuss how organizations can reprioritize and find opportunities to innovate in periods of turmoil. Beyond survival, firms need to invest actively in innovation-related activities to lead the rest. The goal of the event is to create an opportunity for alumni to learn how to best approach innovation strategies during times of crisis, as well as to learn how firms are employing tactics for resilience and success.

The Mack Institute is the largest research initiative at Wharton and serves as a global network for corporates, researchers, faculty, and students. Through a collaborative and cross-disciplinary approach to the study of innovation management in established firms, the institute develops practical tools for pressing contemporary business challenges and facilitates network between corporations and university resources. Extending this network to alumni, Mack Institute is presenting this discussion to Wharton Alumni Clubs around the world to facilitate collaboration between our world-class scholars and business leaders.

About Saikat Chaudhuri
Prof. Saikat Chaudhuri is executive director of the Mack Institute for Innovation Management, a research institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he serves as adjunct associate professor of management. His research is focused on mergers and acquisitions, organizational adaptation, outsourcing and technological innovation.
