Our speaker is Michael Rosenblum who will discuss landlord and tenant issues both for residential and commercial markets and the impact of Covid-19. Many businesses, both essential and non-essential, have experienced a sudden drop in their revenue and are struggling with real estate issues and figuring out how to negotiate/manage their rent obligations. Landlords also have financial obligations and need to manage costs to maintain their properties. Michael will discuss how to navigate the challenges that renters, businesses and landlords face during this time and what we can expect moving forward. We will also have time for questions.
Michael will be interviewed by Alissa Finerman, an executive coach and Wharton MBA.

About Michael Rosenblum
Michael has over thirty years of experience as a corporate and real estate attorney. His firm has successfully served its clientele in a wide variety of corporate and real estate transactional matters since opening in 1995. Located in Century City, the firm represents a diverse assortment of private business entities, from investment hedge funds to prominent entrepreneurs, in numerous complex corporate, securities and business law matters. Some of the firm’s specialties include M&A, the acquisition and financing of real estate, drafting operating agreements for limited liability companies, and the negotiation and structuring of partnerships and joint ventures.
Michael received his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law where he was a participant in the Moot Court Honors Program. Prior to pursuing a law degree, he earned a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He began his legal career as an associate for Proskauer, Rose, Goetz & Mendelsohn and later for Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp, before opening his private practice in the mid-1990s.
Alissa Finerman is an Executive Coach and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. She works with leaders, managers and teams to drive performance and leadership development. She is an executive coach for the Wharton Executive MBA program. Prior to coaching, she worked on Wall Street for 10 years and in commercial real estate for five years. She received her MBA from the Wharton School. Alissa is the author of the book, Living in YOUR Top 1%.
