Sid Gulledge, WG16, serves on the programming team at Wharton So Cal, focusing on Finance and Young Alumni events.
He's a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. He graduated from Duke University in 2009 and commissioned as a Surface Warfare Officer from the Duke University Naval ROTC program. He was stationed in San Diego for 8 years serving tours on USS New Orleans (LPD-18), USS Mobile Bay (CG-53), and Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Center with multiple oversees deployments. In 2016 he attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. He also holds a Masters degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion.
Sid works for Goldman Sachs - Investment Management Division serving as a Private Wealth Advisor in Los Angeles. He serves on the board for The Meaning Foundation, a 501(c) 3 focused on supporting impoverished LA citizens in achieving gainful employment. He also sits on the national board for the Young Alumni Development Council (YADC) for Duke University and is co-head of the Southern California YADC board for Duke.
In his free time he enjoys golf, tennis, surfing, lobster diving, and music (drums/guitar).
